In case youre Not a Collector, is a History lesson for you Cadillac adopted the "V" to symbolize the V-8 in its cars Pre 1950's the "V" was straight up and narrow and the emblem was inside the V on all its cars and signs. Then the 50's design which is the one featured came along which was the wide V and post 1950's the V was back to its flatter wider version which lasted until 1969. Cadillac then moved on to the famous wreathed crest and got rid of the "V" all together. Then by the 1970's Cadillac thought it was no longer necessary to push the then famous "V" in its designs.
(it was no longer necessary to emphasize the obvious). The item "1950 Cadillac Service Dealership Porcelain Sign" is in sale since Monday, December 16, 2019.
